Meet us at the market!

The Adams County Farmer's Market was established in 2018 to fill a gap between consumers and local farmers. The market began at the People's Defender parking lot on June 9, 2018 and received great support from the community. The market has since moved to the courthouse square in West Union where that support continues to grow. We are entering our seventh year and cannot thank the customers enough for their continued patronage! By shopping at the market, you are putting money back into your local economy and supporting your local farmers!

The market began with sponsorship from the Adams County Health & Wellness Coalition and the Ohio Farm Bureau. We have continued support from the Adams County Health & Wellness Coalition as well as Adams County Creating Healthy Communities and West Union Plumbing & Electric. 

You can find a variety of fresh vegetables, breads, desserts, jams, jellies, grass-fed beef, pork, local honey, fresh cut flowers, plants, eggs, and much, much more! Come see what we have to offer and support your local farmers!

The Ohio Direction Card, or SNAP, is accepted at the market! Customers can use their SNAP benefits to purchase fresh fruits, vegetables, meat, eggs, baked goods, jams/jellies, honey, and edible plants.
